Have installed Windows 10 on a Bush Tablet. Initial installation had problems so went through recovery removing all the existing apps and files to get a clean install. Problem now is screen auto rotate. In landscape the screen is correct, on portrait the screen is flipped upside down. Have updated the Kionix drivers without any change. You might face this issue if there might be some issues with the touch screen drivers.

We will be glad to help you further. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks again Ruth but unfortunately none of your suggestions worked. It was working when it was running Win 8. After reinstalling Win10 the auto rotation was initially turned off and I had to update the Kionix driver to make it work at all. All enabled and working correctly no errors. This reported that the driver software is up to date. Windows downloaded and installed an update. Restarted but unfortunately it made no difference.

Auto rotation operates but does so incorrectly, so you are undoubtedly right that I need to correct the software. It may be a case of using a different driver. Can you point me to where I might find that driver.
I assume its the one for the Kionix accelerometer that needs changing but Kionix do not offer alternatives to download and there is nothing that I can find from Microsoft. The other option that occurred to me is a registry setting for autorotation but I don’t see any obvious change that would correct this issue. I suspect there are some additional registry settings that you’ll need, which hopefully I can find for you. Can you kindly let us know the make and model of your tablet?
The tablet is badged Bush. Unfortunately I have also had some more problems. Yesterday Microsoft Edge stopped working. It tried to start but each time reverted back after a few seconds to the desktop. I tried various settings and restarts and even a restore to a earlier set up without success. Looking at the web this seems to be a problem that others are having with no fix identified so went through a recovery and reinstalled Windows.
That fixed the Microsoft Edge issue but now I don’t have the auto rotate function at all. The check box in settings is not showing and I have so far not been able to get it back.. Its now installed so auto rotation works again but is now always 90 degrees out of phase Look forward to any ideas about a fix. Details required : characters remaining Cancel Submit. Sorry that I’m a little late following up here. Also, which way is the screen rotated? Hold the device the way you want it, then check if it’s 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.
Then rotate it 90 degrees clockwise and check if the display rotates the right way it should rotate the opposite way from the device. I have the same tablet, I’ve got as far as installing the drivers for the orientation sensor, a Kionix KXCJ9, from a similar thread with the instructions. The taskbar is always to the left of where I want it when I hold the tablet in the orientation I want.
I believe the problem is with the orientation code within the re editor. Currently using this code 01 01 01 00 01 01 Other instructions say to change this to get the orientation properly calibrated, but after a lot of trial and error I have had no luck.
